About this site and who answers your call
This site is operated by a local marketing partner, and calls may be answered by an independently owned plumbing company serving your area. The company that answers is responsible for its own work, scheduling, pricing, permits, licensing and insurance. Before you approve any work, ask that company for its California Contractors State License Board license number and check it at cslb.ca.gov, and get the scope and price in writing.
The operator of this site is not a party to any agreement you make with the company that performs the work, and is not responsible for that company's work or conduct.
Information on this site
The articles and pages on this site are general information about water lines. They are not professional, engineering or legal advice for your property. Plumbing codes, permit rules and water provider policies change and vary by city, county and provider. Confirm requirements with your local building department and water provider.
The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or availability of the site or its content.
Phone calls
- Calls may be recorded for quality and training, with notice at the start of the call.
- Calls may be tracked to see which pages generate them. See the Privacy Policy.
- In a life-safety emergency, such as flooding near electrical equipment or a gas smell, call 911 first.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or from services performed by any company that answers a call. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
