Privacy Policy
How this website collects, uses and protects information, written for visitors in California.
- Effective Nov 1, 2026
- California visitors
This policy explains how Diamond Bar Plumbers ("we", "us") handles information when you visit this website or call the phone number shown on it. It applies to this website only.
Information we collect
This site has no forms, accounts or logins. We do not ask you to type in personal information. We collect information in two ways:
- When you call us. Our phone system may record your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, the page you called from, and your general location based on the number. With notice at the start of the call, calls may also be recorded for quality and training.
- When you browse. Analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on site and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies or similar technology.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
How we use information
- To answer your call and arrange service at your property.
- To route your call to a plumbing company that serves your area. See the Terms of Use for how calls are handled.
- To understand which pages and search terms bring calls, so we can improve the site.
- To review call quality and resolve disputes.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
Call recording
California law generally requires the consent of everyone on a call before a confidential conversation is recorded (California Penal Code section 632). If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start. If you do not want the call recorded, you may hang up and email us instead.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to run the site and provide service:
- Service companies. The independently owned plumbing company that takes your call receives your phone number and what you tell them, so they can help you.
- Service providers. Hosting, analytics and call-tracking vendors process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena or to protect safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and Do Not Track
Analytics cookies help us count visits and calls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Browsers send "Do Not Track" signals in different ways and there is no common standard, so this site does not currently respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of sale or sharing where the law requires it.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) applies to us, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
- Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, with some exceptions.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it.
- Not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email sample@test.com or call (909) 850-3428. We will verify your request using information we already have, such as the phone number you called from, and respond within the time the law allows. You may use an authorized agent with written permission.
Under California Civil Code section 1798.83 (the "Shine the Light" law), you may ask whether we disclosed personal information to other businesses for their direct marketing. We do not.
How long we keep information
We keep call records and analytics data only as long as needed for the purposes above, for record-keeping, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections to this site. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging plumbing service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
